Texas men jailed in Kansas marijuana case
In Topeka, two Mathis Texas men Sev C10 Meza Jr age 25 and Jose Gutierrez age 19 were sentenced by U S District Judge Dale Safar to six and five years respectively for intent to distribute 260 pounds of marijuana. Both pleaded guilty in August and face no parole. They were arrested by Kansas Highway Patrol on Interstate 35 near Williamsburg in May.
