Cross Country Trip and Capitol Hill Visit in DC
In Washington on a rainy Thursday we toured Capitol Hill, met Rep Jan Meyers and staff, and heard from health policy figures at an HHSSA conference. My grandma, driver Jim Keefe, and I attended briefings, with Meyers as keynote and a White House Oval Office reference. We then toured the Smithsonian and enjoyed a formal luncheon with varied table settings and a cheese cake dessert.
