Plaza Theatre owners seek first run films in Ottawa
Plaza Theatre owners Steve and Mary LeAnn Bagby, former Ottawa operators, transferred ownership to Rice who plans to bring first run films to Ottawa. Bagby cited distance and divided attention after moving to Harrisonville, Missouri, and the change aims to attract patrons who currently travel out of town for movies. Rice says the move could boost Ottawa economy as diners and other spending accompany local screenings.
