Electric Event Opens Performance Electric in Ottawa
Chamber members gathered at Performance Electric on North Oak Street for a ribbon cutting and coffee event. Owners Gregg Colbern and Dave Ross greeted more than 50 attendees including families and employees. The firm opened in Ottawa January 1, 1991, moved locations in 1995, and occupied the new facilities February 1, 2001, with noted contributions to the County Fair, Habitat for Humanity and the Kansas Sampler Festival.

Boosters Club Plans Tour of Ottawa Regional Cancer Center
The Ottawa Booster Club will tour the Ottawa Regional Cancer Center at 1402 S. Main on Wednesday June 6. Meeting time moved to 3 PM to allow time for the tour. Dr. David Deer, Medical Director, will present at the center. The center opened in fall 2000.
