Ottawa police say 47 year old James L. Gardner was found dead in his garage by the STAR team after a forced entry around 7 45 p m. A 12 gauge shotgun was nearby. Death time estimated between 3 and 6 p m with autopsy planned. No one else was in the home and no other injuries occurred.
