RTC official outlines RTC dealings with realtors and housing plan
John Wilkerson of the Resolution Trust Corporation spoke at a Franklin County Realtors luncheon in Ottawa outlining how RTC properties are sold through brokers, with bids, marketing plans, and fees required. The RTC aims to supply low and moderate income housing, with 90 day preferences, and will auction blocks of properties nationally by 1996. 250 homes are planned for bulk auction in the Kansas City area, mainly Olathe and Belton, with some sales by phone or sealed bids.
