Nine-County Jersey dairy cattle meeting in Melvern
A Jersey dairy meeting for nine counties is set in Melvern with plans for livestock exhibits at next fall’s fair. Melvern raised over 500 dollars for a new fair barn via an auction, pin-on tag sales by 4-H members, and pancake and sausage servings. A new well is drilled on fair grounds and a pump to be installed soon. Former Osawatomie resident Bill Lillard will appear on WDAPF TV Sunday at 1 pm to bowl against Robby Robinson after Robinson’s win over Steve Nagy last Sunday.
