First Baptist Church annual meeting reports gains and plans

At Eugene Field School the First Baptist Church held its annual meeting with about 200 attendees. Officers were elected and the church fiscal year will start January 1 for an eight month term. The operating budget 31,843 and missions 16,100 were raised last year. 124,150.60 was pledged to the building fund. Membership rose from 973 to 1,050 and Sunday school averaged 411. Ottawa reports Harold Reed Jr. returns from East Chicago to live with his mother after resigning from Inland Steel as a chemist.
