Garnett Jaycees lead Kansas ranking and yearlong plans
The Garnett Jaycees topped Kansas Jaycee chapters in January with 65-plus groups, earning praise from chapter president Helen Norman. The club, with 48 members, lays out 2026 projects including Easter events at the National Guard Armory, a Carhopping fundraiser for summer camp, a Diamond Skills contest, a Crappie Tournament, mud runs, a backyard barbecue, IIT League tour stops, and sponsorship drives to keep key events in Garnett. Proceeds support the museum air-conditioning project and local youth activities.
