Ottawa teen killer to be released from Topeka youth prison

Man Arrested Twice Tuesday In Two Unrelated Cases
An 18-year-old Ottawa man, Justin Cory Mietchen, was arrested twice on Tuesday in separate incidents. First, at 11:35 p.m., he was taken into custody in the 100 block of South Locust on suspicion of meth possession and related charges after a prior DUI. About nine hours earlier, he was questioned about a theft at Laich Industries and arrested on suspicion of theft and criminal damage to property. He remained in Franklin County jail this morning after the second arrest, while the theft case led to a release after an agreement to appear in municipal court.
