American trooper held in deadly attack at Kuwait base
Army investigators question Set. Asan Akbar after a grenade attack at a Kuwait base that wounded 15 soldiers, three seriously. Authorities say motive likely resentment, with Akbar saying he feared persecution as a Muslim. Akbar, born Mark Fidel Kools, was in the 101st Airborne's 326th Engineer Battalion. His mother, Quran Bilal, says he may have faced religion-based accusations.
