Prairie dog status to be reviewed by Interior
The Interior Department will launch a nine month review to determine if the black tailed prairie dog should be protected under the Endangered Species Act. The Fish and Wildlife Service study will assess a species with a long Western range from Montana and the Dakotas to New Mexico. Biologist Peter Gober notes it is “one of the most hated and most loved” and may warrant protection.

NTSB pins 737 rudder reversal in 3 crashes
