Ottawa ORC explores recreation bond plan and list of needs
ORC officials say voters would not pay extra taxes to cover bonds. The task force’s study lists include an indoor recreation center, outdoor aquatic center, trails, a new movie theater, and soccer fields. The list is not tied to the bond and would be addressed only if the center is approved. If approved in April, bids would be sought in fall with operation aimed for summer 2004.
