Robert L Shields 71 of Ottawa died March 6 2003 at his home. Celebration of Life 2 p.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was born Sept 1 1931 in Ottawa to Ted and Dorothy Shields. Survived by four daughters, a brother and sister, 10 grandchildren. Donations to charities and funeral home arrangements.

The Ottawa Rotary Club holds its annual Chili and Soup Dinner on Tuesday March 11 with two serving shifts from 11 am to 1 30 pm and 5 pm to 7 pm. Adults pay 5 dollars, children 3 dollars. Tickets available at the door or from any Rotary member.
