Indiana Jones novelist doubles careers in Kansas strides
Max McCoy, a Pittsburg, Kansas, teaching assistant, signs a Bantam Books contract to write four Indiana Jones adventure novels. He balances academia at Emporia State with night-long writing sessions and prize-laden research as his work situates in 1930 to 1935, before the films, aiming for a trilogy plus one.
