Navy Airman Apprentice Brian L. Barnett of Garnett earned a letter of appreciation for superior duty. Scott Bures of Richmond placed third in Pittsburg State University Skills Championships and advances to state. Shawn M. Harrell of Melvern completed Navy basic training at Great Lakes after graduating Marais Des Cygnes High School.
