City commissioner Charles Gillette says he and fellow commissioners Tony Keim and Richard Jackson will attend the National League of Cities annual legislative conference in Washington. They will discuss housing grants, HUD relations, ADA mandates, pollution rules, cable regulation, stormwater, the deficit, health care reform and other topics. Cost is about $3,500 for travel, registration and lodging. meeting dates are March 7 to 12, with no study session next Monday due to absence.
