Hall Appeals For Grain Car Relief
Gov. Fred Hall urged the Association of American Railroads to send a representative to Kansas to speed box car movement for the wheat harvest. In a telegram to R. E. Gas City Woman Killed In Crash
Miss Ella Mae Holloway twenty from Gas City was killed instantly when the car she rode in crashed into a bridge near Moran Kansas last midnight. The driver George Mattingly twenty five of LaHarpe and James W. Cooper twenty three of Eureka survived without injuries. The vehicle struck a bridge bannister, plunged to the opposite rail, and rolled over.
