Korean and North Korean ships clash near sea border

North and South Korean warships exchanged gunfire near the western sea border, injuring sailors on both sides and damaging vessels. South Korea said a North Korean ship fired first while Yonhap cited a report of a North Korean warship seen towed in flames. the clash followed multiple incursions by North Korean vessels in recent months.
