Optimistic About Business In 1960

Washington AP reports midyear 1960 sees more optimists than pessimists about the economy. Growth may slow but output should rise on a high plateau with minimal inflation and a possibly mild recession risk in early 1961. Demand, incomes, credit ease, and a buoyant consumer sector support a stable year-end outlook.
