Changes In State Board Appointments By Governor Hall
Ut Gov Fred Hall announced one new appointment to the State Board of Chiropractic Examiners and signaled two more changes in the five member panel. He named Dr C A Ott of Marysville to a three year term succeeding Dr Carroll C Arnett of Belleville. Hall said he will replace Dr Arthur Colburn of Lawrence and Dr Howard J Kelly of Topeka whose terms are at the pleasure of the governor. He noted current law requires three chiropractors an ordained minister and a school teacher on the board and that Colburn and Kelly were named as the school teacher and ministerial members though both are chiropractors. Hall said it is in the public interest to have someone outside the profession on the board. He reappointed Dr C Welker of Concordia to a four year term on the State Board of Osteopathic Examination and Registration and Dr Edwin C Cathers of Chanute to a three year term on the State Board of Optometry Examiners.
