Arthur J. Kropp, president of People for the American Way, a liberal group defending church state separation, died of AIDS on Monday at age 37. He had led the organization since 1987.
Army Specialist Jarrod L. Crockett, son of Ronald and Connie Crockett of Osage City, helped provide security and support for U S and British dignitaries and veterans at the Madingley American Cemetery in Cambridge England.
