Sentencing for Pomona man on marijuana charge sparks probation
Dennis Stankard of Pomona was sentenced Friday to one to two years in prison for attempted felony possession of marijuana from a Feb 14 Pomona home search by the Franklin County Drug Enforcement Unit. The sentence is suspended with two years probation, with costs, a $50 supervision fee, 50 hours of community service, abstinence from alcohol and drugs, random urinalysis, follow-up evaluation, and full-time employment.
