Quilters Paradise At Spencer KU Exposes Two Kansas Eras
Kansas quilters from 1920s to 1908 showcase in KU Spencer Museum of Art with works by Topeka, Emporia, Burlington and Denver creators. The exhibit pairs historic blocks with modern pieces from Helen Ericson, Chris Wolf Edmonds and Catherine Cain, plus Carrie Hall blocks donated in 1938. Prints by Capps, Hall, Huntoon, Marvin, Sandzen and Whittemore also displayed through August 2 with origins in Prairie Printmakers.
