TJ Bivins, 69, of Wellsville matched all five numbers in Missouri Lottery SuperCash drawing to win $100,000. The ticket was purchased at Martin City Phillips in Kansas City. Bivins declined to comment when contacted by the Herald.
Western oil sources said two storage tanks at the Aden refinery were struck during a Northern raid intended to hit a nearby southern base. The refinery was reportedly undamaged, while the south said several tanks burned. Three jets were shot down. a fourth fled.
