Interfaith marriages show lower church drift and mixed outcomes
A Creighton University study in Omaha shows couples from different Christian denominations divorce more than intra denomination pairs and drift from the church. Shared religious activities influence marriage success more than shared beliefs, with inter church couples showing a 6 percent divorce rate if engaged then united in one church, vs 14 percent for same denomination and 20 percent when remaining with different denominations.

Sculptor fuels diversity with Angel of Harmony art
In St Louis a 14 foot 1100 pound stainless sculpture by Wiktor Szostalo titled Angel of Harmony stands beside the St Louis Cathedral Basilica. Commissioned by the Catholic archdiocese the piece shows a smiling black angel with wind chimes for wings and three children representing Hispanic black and Asian communities. Bishop Edward Braxton says diverse images reflect Catholic inclusion. Szostalo notes his church artworks carry personal meaning and address broader community engagement.
