In Mount Clemens Michigan a probate judge cleared the way for a 12 year old girl's parents to take her to Wichita Kansas for a late term abortion. The girl in her 29th week of pregnancy had been allegedly impregnated by her 17 year old brother. Prosecutor Carl Marlinga asked for dismissal after private discussions with family attorneys and confirmation the parents had necessary information. The ruling came shortly before press time.
