Revival Church Starts School By HARRIS RAY
Four years after a divine message, Rev Afton B Oglesby leads Community Revival Center Church in establishing a Christian Academy for kindergarten through 12th grade. Beginning this fall classes will use the church building on 18 acres on South Davis Road with plans for a separate future school building. Director Jack Eden, a Garnett High School retiree, says about 42 students are expected in August, with 3 to 8 teachers. Eden cites discipline and Bible focus as core, and says the school offers a full time alternative to public education aligned with spiritual values.
