Miss America swimsuit vote set for September telecast
New Miss America contestants may or may not parade in swimsuits depending on public choice. Viewers dialing a 900 number during the September 16 live show will decide if the swimsuit segment occurs. CEO Leonard Horn says the segment would air late in the program before the winner is named, with a replacement competition if no vote wins.
