US to seek isolation of Bosnian-Serb rebel leader
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright said the United States would urge NATO to isolate Radovan Karadzic, the Bosnian-Serb rebel and war crimes suspect, as the NATO summit considers coordinated actions to support the Dayton peace accord and curb those opposing constitutional processes. International banks were said to deny $800 million in reconstruction loans to the Serbs amid continued difficulties for NATO peacekeepers under the 1995 Dayton framework.
