Anderson County appoints Brett Shields as new prosecutor
Newly sworn Anderson County Attorney Brett Shields filed charges in a reported rape case, naming 18 year old Clint D. Kincaid for aggravated indecent liberties with a child and aggravated criminal sodomy. Bond set at $30,000 with a preliminary hearing planned for July 11. Shields, a Washburn Law School graduate and former Linn County Assistant Attorney, discussed duties and reasons for relocating to Garnett.
