The Ottawa City Band performs from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Park as part of Independence Day activities. The Sousa marches The Invincible Eagle The Liberty Bell and The Stars and Stripes Forever join pieces by Karl L. King John Edmondson the Original Dixieland Jazz Band James Ployhar George Cohan and Samuel Ward. Ottawa Brass Quintet guests will play a Sousa medley arranged by Howard Cable and present an armed forces salute.
