The Ottawa Area Chamber of Commerce annual banquet on January 21 at Sacred Heart Parish Center drew over 180 attendees. Emcee Dr. Dennis Tyner and Ottawa Suzuki Strings provided entertainment with a National Guard Color Guard and Jessie Arnold singing the National Anthem. Awards honored include Russell Crites Award to Blaine Finch, Community Builder to Hasty Awards, and Joy Beatty as Ambassador of the Year. The Entrepreneur Award went to Lyle Kathy and Shawn Turner. A silent auction benefitting Habitat for Humanity and The Chamber Foundation raised over $5,000 with 135+ items donated.
