Lazy hunters blamed for geese dumped along Ottawa road
Ottawa residents reported 10 to 15 dead Canada Geese and at least one turkey dumped along Montana Road near 15th Street. Kansas wildlife officer Scott Leamon said the carcasses were breast‑ed out and discarded, illegal littering, not a mystery bird decline. He urged witnesses to contact Operation Game Thief at 877 426 3843.
