A full obituary to run later. Roy B. Bo Dixon 83 of Garnett died Sunday January 20 2002 at Golden Heights Living Center Garnett. Graveside services 2 p.m. Tuesday at Garnett Cemetery with Rev. Sharon Brown Chappell officiating. Born August 22 1918 at Severy to James Walter and Verna Bell Dixon. He worked on a wheat farm, served in U S Army 1941 1946, then Kansas Department of Transportation retiring 1981. Lived at Golden Heights since 1998. Survived by two stepsons Larry Hester Lavrene Okla and David Daly St. Louis. two stepgrandsons. three stepgreat-grandsons. several nieces and nephews. Married Hazel Marie Herron April 1951 died June 1970. Married Arline Daly December 22 1975. Eagles Lodge Ottawa and VFW Garnett membership. Memorial Chapel Garnett in charge.
