KPL Gas Service blocked from further rate increase bid
In Topeka today the Kansas Corporation Commission denied KPL Gas Service a reconsideration of a 52 million dollar natural gas rate hike, lowered to 39 million in a December order. The panel rejected further increases while ending the safety surcharge, but allowed tracking of safety program costs for potential recovery after a moratorium ending in August 1995.
