James Robert Strawder Sr. 64 of Waverly died January 13 2003 at Coffey County Hospital Burlington. Funeral 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Jones Funeral Home Burlington. He was born March 25 1938 in Crotty to Robert Lee and Elsie Faye Lawrence Strawder. He married Ona Louise Schmid in 1957 and Nancy Gibson in 1965. Survived by three sons and four daughters plus many relatives. Burial Crandall Cemetery. Memorials to Coffey County fish stocking. Lois Mae Grandy Ross 84 of Parkville Missouri died January 10 2003 at North Kansas City Hospital. Funeral 1:30 p.m. today at Eddy Birchard Funeral Home Osawatomie. Born March 28 1918 in Garfield to Raymond O and Marion Ethel Grandy. She worked various jobs and married Sheri Dean Ross in 1946. Survived by two daughters four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Burial Osawatomie Barry Christian Church.
