Claron Howarter 91 of Topeka formerly Lone Elm died Sunday January 5 2003. Funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday at Lone Elm Community Building with Rev Gary Benjamin. Born October 15 1911 in Lone Elm to Glen and Eunice Howarter he farmed and served on the Lone Elm school board. He married Evelyn Lord in Moran October 3 1934 she preceded him in death. Survived by four sons three daughters ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. Burial at Lone Elm Cemetery. Memorials to Lone Elm Community Building or Plaza West Therapeutic Recreational Department Topeka.
