Police and sheriff reports list three arrests in Franklin County and Ottawa. Justin Schrick, 29, Ottawa, faces aggravated indecent liberties charges. Coburn Parkin, 60, Williamsburg, cited for suspected DUI after a one vehicle crash. Jacob Billing sley, 28, Louisburg, held on probation violation warrant. Kayur Patel, 31, Le Loup, suspected property damage after residence incident. Donald Finch, 53, Ottawa, suspected property damage after a disturbance.
A 19-year-old Williamsburg woman reported a possible theft of her dog valued at 145 dollars on North Robey Street. A 57-year-old Princeton man said an engine block and transmission were stolen from his garage, valued at 700 dollars on Eisenhower Road. At Casey's General Store in Pomona an unknown male stole 27.24 dollars of motor fuel.
Police reports list multiple incidents in Ottawa including Tina Williams 45 cited on cruelty to animals and pit bull concerns after a dog bite. Other notices include battery and property damage on South Locust, a battering accusation against Caitlin Prochaska, and theft reports on South Locust and South Maple Streets alongside a Walmart parking lot accident involving Larry Masenthin and Rita Masenthin.
Wednesday entries include civil standby on Main Street and a special assignment on the same block. Thursday lists motorist assist at K-33 and I-35, a medical call on West Fourth Street, an animal complaint on Benton Drive, a private property accident on Poplar Street, and suspicious activity on Maple Street.
At 6:27 a.m. on Rock Creek Road Ottawa a 2004 Dodge Ram driven by Christopher MccVaugh 18 of Rantoul lost control on a snow packed road and struck a utility pole in a sheriff's report no injuries. At 1:03 p.m. on Princeton Street Aaron Gaudet 23 with no address struck a vehicle driven by Richard Pope 72 of Pomona no injuries reported per police report.
Fire crews responded to a mutual aid incident near U S 59 and Rock Creek Road where a half ton truck burned completely. Ottawa firefighters also handled a cigarette in a flower pot causing garage smoke with no damage. Fire Chief Tim Matthias noted four medical calls assisted over the two days.
