Luncheon to Launch 1994 Ottawa Walk America

A noon Tuesday luncheon at the Ottawa Country Club launches the 1994 March of Dimes Ottawa Walk America. Co chairs Eileen Bowling and Margie Engelkemier, with council members from KPL, Fashion Inc., Ottawa University, and local agencies, invite business participation to match 1993’s 250 participants. A Kansas bill would require park use licenses for everyone 16 or older with a $10 individual pass and a $20 park vehicle pass. People over 65 would pay for the park license.
