Jerusalem AP Lennar Carleson of Sweden and John G Thompson of Cambridge England named recipients of the 1992 Wolf Prize in mathematics. Carleson recognized for Fourier analysis complex analysis and dynamical systems and Thompson for contributions to finite group theory and its links to other areas of math. They share a $100000 prize and join laureates in physics chemistry agriculture medicine and arts since the prize’s 1975 founding.

Defense counsel Vincent Fuller argued the woman could have left when she saw Tyson in underwear after stepping from the bathroom.
