Widow of Ezra W Christie who died in 1946 she was born Brookville near Salina March 22 1880 and lived in Ottawa since February 1942. Survivors include daughter Mrs W M Barlow Wichita son Rex W Christie Ottawa four grandchildren and brother Max A Rex Los Angeles. Funeral will be in Federated church Saturday at 2 pm with Rev William E Berger and Rev William G Ward officiating. Burial Highland cemetery.

Grounded Jets Start Southern Training Trip
ST LOUIS The Navy's non flying Demon jets begin the first leg of a southern trip for ground training today. Twenty one planes costing over a million each will move 16 miles by tractor hauled convoys from McDonnell Aircraft to the Mississippi River then to barges. Eight planes with folded wings already crossed by road. Sixteen demons head by barge to Memphis Naval Air Training Center and five to Pensacola Florida.
