Rantoul Bulldogs surged late to beat Edgerton 49-32 as Joe Evans led with 15 points and Eldon Beecker and Wayne Evans added nine each. Nieder to portray Dempsey in new life story film

San Francisco AP Nieder Olympic shot put champion and ex Kansas athlete will play Jack Dempsey in a feature about the heavyweight champ.
