Rev. Dr. H. Mae D. Thompson of 1003 Willow died in his sleep at 3:30 am aged 90 years six months. Born June 19, 1865 in Earleston Laws Scotland he spent over 30 years in Ottawa after moving from Hays. A former surgeon and missionary, he entered the ministry in 1894 and served multiple Baptist pastorates including Centropolis retiring 1953. Survived by wife Hannah Mary Blair and six children, numerous grandchildren.
