Washington AP The Internal Revenue Service lifts its ban on the word spouse and cuts terms definitions as it rolls out 1973 federal tax forms and instructions. Changes aim to simplify filing with procedural edits such as no need to list donor names on canceled gifts and remove separate schedules for dividends and interest. A nationwide toll free help system is available for taxpayers.
