Christmas dinner brings Campers together and awards
The Nightcrawlers Camping Club held its Christmas dinner at Green Acres with 42 members and children. They allocated three $25 duck fund gifts and sent a fruit basket to Jim and Joan Cook, who sent thanks for a rosebush gift. Officers were elected for the year. January meeting to feature a soup supper. A gift exchange followed.

Fires at clinics probed in Kansas City area
Federal agents and arson investigators probed overnight arson attempts at two area abortion clinics. A device with flammable liquid sparked a small roof fire at Central Family Medicine in Kansas City Kansas, causing about 300 dollars in damage.
