Doctor's daughter roots faith in family medicine career
Ellen Sinclair, a Ransom Memorial Hospital physician, grew up with medicine in mind after a friend's heart surgery inspired her dream. The Ottawa family doctor balanced medical training, teaching, and theater while pursuing life sciences at Kansas State University, then medical school at the University of Kansas. She joined Ottawa Family Physicians in 1998, and alongside husband Mike and daughters Caroline and another child, she embraces a career that blends internal medicine, OB/GYN, pediatrics, and gerontology.
