Dozens of church and civic groups held Christmas gatherings in Franklin County. Seekers Sunday school at Trinity United Methodist elected officers and organized gifts, cards, and calls. Nurses and Medical Auxiliary hosted a Christmas party with music from Ottawa High Cytones and a basket drive. Sequel Club welcomed three new members and a guest with carols and a Bible themed program. Various other circles shared Christmas stories, gifts, and crafts, with Jan 5 to Jan 12 meetings planned and a Legion Auxiliary event canceled.
