Nuts may protect against diabetes in nurses study
A Harvard School of Public Health analysis of 83,818 women aged 34 to 59 over up to 16 years finds those eating a handful of nuts or a tablespoon of peanut butter five or more times weekly were over 20 percent less likely to develop type 2 diabetes. Researchers expect similar results for men.
