Garnett Woman Found Dead In Home

Counterfeiting Suspect 16 Faces Federal Charge
Treasury agents say a 16 year old Wichita youth orally admitted taking part in counterfeiting more than ten thousand dollars in twenty dollar bills. Richard R. Baker was arrested yesterday on a federal charge and arraigned waiving preliminary hearing. The case follows the confession of Jimmy Probst who admitted making plates and passing bogus notes at a lithographic firm where he worked. Bevis the police lab tech tied Baker to the plates with a thumb print.
